Flexometer is used for the assessment of the flexing endurance of light leathers and their surface finishes. The ability of light leathers such as those used in shoe uppers, gloves and garments to withstand repeated flexing without cracking can be accurately determined with ASIAN Flexometer. This testing equipment is built on a rigid metallic base plate. The test specimen is held between a pair of stationary and oscillating grips. The grips are specially designed to enable quick fixing and removal of the test specimen and are shaped to meet the specifications. A six digit even electronic counter with key reset and backup memory is provided to count the total number of flexing cycles undergone by the test specimens. The equipment is able to carry out a number of flex cycles per test.

The “ASIAN” Water Vapour Permeability Tester made of twelve brass bottles. It measures water vapours permeability of leather. The bottles have the nut of the circular opening. The bottles are mounted on the bottles holders which rotate at specified revolution per minute with the help of motor pulley belts. The axis of the bottles is parallel to the axle of the bottles holders. A fan mounted in front of the mouths of the bottles and consisting of three blades in planes that are inclined at 120º to one another. The planes of the blades pass through the prolongation of the axle of the wheel. A preset Digital timer is mounted for setting total no. of hours of instrument movement. All the components are chrome/ Zinc Plating Painting for corrosion resistance long life.

Crock Meter one of the tests for determination of color fastness of vinyl coated fabrics is the crocking test. This test is used for the determination of colour fastness against rubbing, either under dry or under wet condition. In this test, a moving brass abrading member of specified shape and size hold a bleached fabric rubs against the test specimens under a fixed load. The amount of colour lost by the test specimen and the amount of colour transferred to a piece of abrading fabric fixed over the base of the moving abrading member are graded with the help of standard grey scales to evaluate the colour fastness of the sample under test rubbing.
